All your communications with our consumer services also allow us to collect information about you. We collect certain data using cookies to understand your habits and actions on our website. In other cases, you provide us with your information directly when you contact us, when you make a purchase on our site, during in-store promotions, at trade shows, by filling out offline registration forms, or by participating in market research.

What personal data do we collect?

We have no reason to collect or process sensitive personal data (e.g. health data) in the course of our daily business activities.

What is our policy on children's personal data?

We believe it is extremely important to protect the privacy of children who access the Internet and to encourage parents or guardians to spend time with them to participate in and manage their online activities.

Access to our site and/or the creation of an account may be restricted to adults only.

You must therefore ensure that your children do not disclose their personal data or your personal data on the Internet without first asking your permission.  In fact, any minor can only transmit his/her personal data directly through a parent or guardian with his/her express consent. You can check, modify or delete your child's personal data at any time. Testimonials:  We may publish on our website and other media a list of Case Studies with information about the names and titles of our clients. We undertake to obtain the consent of each client before publishing testimonials on our website .

Do we disclose your personal data and why?

When we share your personal data with other organisations, we ensure that these organisations also have security policies in place to protect your data.

As stated in " 1. Our Personal Data Protection Policy", your personal data will not be shared, sold, rented or disclosed for any purpose other than those described in the Policy. Therefore, we will not sell your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes unless you have given us your consent to do so. Nevertheless, it is possible that your data may be transferred if required to do so by law or, for example, governmental authorities. In the event of a transfer of one of our companies or our business to another company, the legal successor will have access to the data held by the transferring entity and therefore probably also to some of your personal data.

 

How long are your personal data kept?

We will only retain your personal data for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. The criteria we use to determine how long we keep your personal data are the following:

  • We keep your personal data in a form that makes it possible to identify you for the duration of your participation in a loyalty programme, a promotional offer or for the duration of our contractual relationship;
  • If you contact us as part of an application, we will retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to process your application;
  • If You create an Account, we will retain Your Personal Data until You request Us to delete it or until after a period of inactivity (no active interaction with the Marks) defined in accordance with local regulations and instructions;
  • Applications:  If you contact us with your CV and other information concerning your motivation and background (hereinafter "Application Data"), we will retain your Application Data for as long as is necessary to assess your application. If your application is rejected, your application data will be kept as specified in the job application forms or as specified in the reply letter or e-mail sent to you. In the event of successful recruitment, your application data will be retained for the duration of your employment with us.

However, your personal data may be kept for a longer period in order to comply with specific legal obligations or in connection with applicable statutory limitation periods.

After the expiry of the above-mentioned retention periods, your personal data will either be securely removed from all our data bases or anonymised.

 

How do we protect, store and transfer your personal data?

We use all necessary technical and organisational measures to ensure the confidentiality and security of your personal data. Please note, however, that these measures do not apply to information you choose to share in public areas, including third-party social networks.

With regard to your financial data, we apply industry standards for protection and comply with legal obligations. Your data is encrypted when you make online purchases on our website.

You can also help us ensure that your data is protected by using the privacy settings on our website, choosing a strong password and being careful when logging into your account on a public device.

The storage and processing of your personal data requires that your personal data be transferred to and stored in a country other than the country of residence at some point. Personal data may be processed outside the European Economic Area (EEA). If this is the case, we will make every effort to ensure that this international data transfer has an adequate level and security safeguards. The right to block targeted advertising
